Sewer-They will be using a MUlti-Flow system.It could not be
put in the storm sewer.They are working on this probl@m.
A screen will be required on the parking lot side.Before the
P&Z approves this project they would like a legal document
regarding screening.
They P&Z would like them to come back at the July 20th meeting
before final approval.
The resident of Seven Pines talked with the Planning &Zoning
Commission regarding their concerns about Steve Grubbs project of
Wildflower Valley.They are not against the project just the
placement of some apartment buildings.They presented their
concerns on a signed letter to the Commission.
The next meeting will be on July 20th.
Applegate motioned to adjourn,second by Blazanin.Meeting
adjourned at 9:00 P.M.

The Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order at
7.33 P.M.by Chairman Royer.They following members were
present:Applegate,Christianson,Blazanin,Royer,Steele.
Absent.Korpanty.
Guests:Leo Pelds,Joe Brick,Eric Sheldahl,John Kursitis.
Brian J.Redshaw was present and taking minutes.
Moved by Christianson,second by Steele,to approve the minutes
of 5/11 and 6/22/93.
Moved by Applegate,second by Blazanin to recommend a change in
zoning from R-2 to R-3 (conditional use for senior citizen
housing).Carried 5 to 0.
Wildflower Valley Re-zoning.1)comment letter from V&K,2)
protest letter from residents.
Midwest Mobile Home Expansion -1)Overall development plan,2)
Minimum lot dimensions 301.15 E4 45X95 required 60X80 proposed.
Entrance road must be 31 feet all other roads shall be 26 feet.

parking.
3 manholes vs 18 manholes $18,000 standard specifications.Not
maintained by the City.
450 foot spacing of fire hydrants.
Moved by Applegate,second by Steele to adjourn at 10,05 P.M.
Motion carried 5 to 0.Meeting adjourned.

The Planning &Zoning Committee met on August 24,1993.The
meeting was called to order by Joan Christianson,acting Chairman
at 7,35 P.M.
The following members were present,Janet Blazanin,Joan
Christianson,Frank Hoifeldt and Eric Korpanty.Absent,Dick
Applegate,Lloyd Royer and Jerry Steele.
Dick Applegate arrived at 7,37 P.M.
The following business took place,
Discussion took place regarding the site plan for Ken Bratney.
It was decided until the site plan has been corrected it could
not be approved.They will correct the site plan and bring
before the P &Z Committee at the September meeting.
John Kursitus discussed the Zoning Ordinance update.
Motion by Applegate and seconded by Blazanin to adjourn.Motion
carried 5 to 0.
Meeting adjourned at 8,50 P.M.
