A meeting of the Board of Adjustment was called
p.m.on August 28,1984 by Chairman Tom Inman.
present were:Florence Anderson,Mike Aldrich,
Jerome Volkmer.Absent:Dennis Thompson.
to order at 7:08

This meeting was held for a proposed variance for Robert Applegate
of 720 Walnut.Mr Applegate presented plans to build a deck on
the front of his house.
The minutes of the July 7,November.7,and November.19,1983 minutes
were presented and read.
Moved by Aldrich,second by Anderson,to approve the above minutes.
Carried 4 to O.
After a discussion on this matter,it was moved by Aldrich,second
by Anderson,to allow the variance for the following reasons:
1.Deck will not protrude beyond front of existing adjacent
structures to the east or west.
2.Deck would allow needed ramp to be built for handicapped.
3.Deck would not detract from neighborhood or area.
Motion carried 4 to O.
Moved by Aldrich,second by Anderson,to adjourn ..Carried 4 to O.
