The January regular Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order
at 7:05 p.m.by Chairman tom Inman.
A roll call was held as follows:
and Florence Anderson.Absent:
Present:Tom Inman,Dennis Thompson,
Jerome Volkmer and Mike Aldrich.
Cecil Reynolds,Zoning Administrator,spoke to the Board regarding
metal sheds and buildings on skids requiring building permits.He
suggested that the minimum value of a structure requiring a building
permit be raised to $100.00 or $150.00.He indicated wood decks on
trailers,swing sets,and dog houses exceed the present minimum value
of $25.00.
Mr Reynolds also spoke to the'issue of garages in the side yards
at the trailer park.
Jerome Volkmer arrived at 7:52 p.m.
Moved by Anderson,second by Volkmer,to adjourn at 8:08 p.m.Carried
4 to O.
Meeting adjourned.

A special meeting of the Waukee Board of Adjustment was called to
order at 6:04 p.m.by acting Chanrman Mike Aldrich.
PI roll call was,'taken,'as.follows:Present:Aldrich,Anderson,&
Vo Lkrnerr..Absent:Inman and Thompson.
Moved by Anderson,second by Volkmer,to approve the January 17,1983
minutes.Carried 3 to O.
The purpose of this meeting was to consider variances for proposed
garages at the Midwest Mobile Home Court for the following individuals:
Hugh McElvogue--Lot 772,Harry Bennett--Lot 773,and Joe Rankin--
Lot 778.Harry Bennett failed to appear at the meeting.
Moved by Anderson,second~by Volkmer,to approve the proposed garage
for Joe Rankin at Lot 778.Carried 3 to O.
Moved by Anderson,second by Volkmer,to approve the garage as
presented by Hugh McElvogue at Lot 772.Carried 3 to O.
Moved by Volkmer,second by Anderson,to adjourn at 6:44 p.m.
Carried 3 to O.
