May 8,1985
A roll call was held and the following members were present:Aldrich,
Thompson,Inman,Anderson.and Volkmer.were absent.
Moved by Aldrich,second by Thompson,to approve the minutes of
November 6,1984.Carried 3 to O.
There was no unfinished business.
Craig Kamm of 225-6th Street presented a proposal for constructing
a 24 X 30 garage.
The violations listed are the establishment of residential garages
in a commercial zone and 5 feet into the rear yard.
Moved by Thompson,second by Aldrich,to approve a variance to Craig
Kamm in regards to commercial zoning but that the garage must be built
10'distant from principal use.Carried 3 toO.
Moved by Aldrich,second by Thompson,to adjourn at 7:40 p.m.
Carried 3 toO.

August 4,1985 at 7:05 p.m.
Members present were:Volkmer,Inman,Aldrich,Thompson.Absent::Anderson.
The minutes of May 8,1985 were read and stood approved.

Moved by Aldrich,second by Thompson,to approve a variance for
the construction of a satellite dish in the west side yard of Mr.
Wood's home.Carried 2 to l--Volkmer voting No and Inman abstaining.
Moved by Thompson,second by Volkmer,to approve a variance for the
construction of an addition on the west side of Joe Stork's residence
within the 7'minimum side yard.Carried 2 to l--Aldrich voting no
and Inman abstaining.
Gary Kuhl of 255 Corene Ave requested a variance for the construction
of a utility shed within the C£ty's utility easement.
Moved by Aldrich,second by Thompson,to grant Mr.Klli~la variance.
Carried 3 to O.

December 23,1985
The Waukee Board of Adjustment met in session on December 23,1985
and was called to order at 7:17 by Chairman Tom Inman.
The minutes of August 5,1985 were read and approved.
Guests at this meeting were:Ray Rinard and Robert Kirk.
The purpose of this meeting was to consider the proposed variance
for Ray Rinard who resides at Lot 767 in the Midwest Mobile Home
Court.Mr Rinard was requesting a variance to construct a garage
within the 10'separation from the adjacent trailer.
No action was taken at this time.The Board will reconvene after
January 1,1986 for further discussion of this variance.

The Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order at 6:39 p.m.by
Chairman Tom Inman.

Guests and staff at this meeting were:Tom McClure,Brian Redshaw,
and Ray Rinard.
The purpose of this meeting was to reconsider a proposed variance for
Ray Rinard who lives at RR l--Lot 767 of Midwest Mobile Home Court.
Tom McClure,Zoning Administrator,listed 3 concerns which lead him
to deny the building permit for the proposed garage.
