WINDFIELD PARK
In July representatives from two outdoor recreation
equipment companies presented plans for a playground unit similar
to those installed at Centennial Park last year.Two other
companies had mailed plans of their units.The committee decided
to use the plan offered by Landscape Structures,Inc.
Terry McNamara will present the plan to the city Council
tomorrow night,August 5.
with the City Council approval,the unit will be ordered.
With delivery in late September or early October,it can be
installed this fall.An open shelter will be constructed this
fall.Trees will be planted along the edges of the park that
touch residential homes.
The regular meeting of the Park Committee will be held on
August 27 at 7:00 PM at the Waukee Public Library.
