Forret.
The following members were present:Russ Wiesley,Stan Lawson,Ron Olson,Francis Forret,
Marsha Schmidt,Marge Schlaefer and Council Representative Nick Gruber.Absent:Anne
Pulliam.Guests:Jim Conlin and Chuck Mathias from the Mobile Home Park and Kurt Ruecke1,
City Administrator.
Mobile Home Park:Jim Conlin and Chuck Mathes of the Mobile Home Park presented the
Committee with some data concerning water usage and loss.After shutting off the line coming
from the west the Water loss was greatly diminished.This was around March 1,1995.The
Committee felt if the line would ever be turned on again a back flow valve would have to be
installed.The Mobile Home Park representatives proposed a $1,000.00 reduction on their water
bill for 3 years.
The Committee felt they were entitled to some reimbursement.A motion was made by Wiesley
and seconded by Olson to give them a $1,000.00 credit for 12 months and if the line were
reopened a back flow valve must be installed.Motion carried.
The Committee felt the Mobile Home Court needs to share in the responsibility for the water
loss.
Meeting adjourned at 9:15am.
