MINUTES OF THE DECEMBER 1996 UTILTIY COMMITTEE
The Decmeber 14,196 Utility Meeting was called to order at 8:lOAM
The following members were present:Fancis Forret,Stan Lawson,Russ Wies1ey,Marsha Schmidt
and Council Representative,Nick Gruber.Absent:Anne Pulliam,Ron Olsen,and Marge Schlaefer.
The Committee discussed Waste Management not seperating the recycling materials into the
seperate bins.Kurt will advise Waste Management of their concerns.
Kurt Ruecke1 went over the first draft of the Utility Billing,Water,Sewer,Gas,and budgets.
Russ Wies1ey made a motion to have the city reconsider having a company read meters for the City
2nd By Stan Lawson.The motion passed 5-0.
Motion to approve the leasing of space on our water tower by Wiesley,2nd by Schmidit The motion
passed 5-0.
The meeting breifly discussed the highwater bill of Preferred Can.Everyone will be invied to the
next Utility Committee meeting to review the bill and past usage history.
MEETING TIMES AND DAYS.
The committee chose to move the meetings to 8:30 AM.
Meeting adjourned at 9:21 AM
