SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Project engineers have reviewed the Original Sanitary
Sewer Collection System Rehabilitation Phase 4 Project and find that the
work performed is in substantial accordance with the plans and specifications.

RESOLUTION 2020-
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ORIGINAL SANITARY SEWER
COLLECTION SYSTEM REHABILITATION - PHASE 4
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of August, 2018, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of
Waukee, Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Hydro-Klean of Des Moines, IA, for the
construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Original Sanitary Sewer
Collection System Rehabilitation - Phase 4; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on December 31,
2019:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
Section 1. That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted, and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully
completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final
construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $201,668.17, as shown in the report of the
Engineer.
