HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-01-06-J01zDD Stratford Crossing Plat 6 Rezoning_Set PH CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: January 6, 2020 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a Motion to set a Public Hearing Date of February 3, 2020, as the date of public hearing on an ordinance to amend Chapter 169, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by rezoning certain property from R-2 One & Two Family Residential District to R-2 One & Two Family Residential District / PD-1 Planned Development Overlay District (Stratford Crossing Plat 6) FORMAT: Motion SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request for rezoning of approximately 19.20 acres of property from R-2 One & Two Family Residential District to R-2 One & Two Family Residential District / PD- 1 Planned Development Overlay District. The property is located north of Hickman Road and west of NW 10th Street. The applicant has provided the necessary consents from the adjoining property owners in order to begin the rezoning process. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for February 3, 2020, to further discuss the proposed changes.
