Mayor Clarke makes the following appointments: Representative to Emergency Management Commission: Fire Chief Robinson Alternate to Emergency Management Commission: Council Member Bergman Representative to E-911 Commission: Fire Chief Robinson Alternate to E-911 Commission: Council Member Bergman FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: RECOMMENDATION: Approve the appointment. Proposed Resolution PREPARED BY:Becky Schuett REVIEWED BY: PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: J7 THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 2020- APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS TO THE DALLAS COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COMMISSION AND E-911 COMMISSION FOR 2020 IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND, WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a member of both the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission and Dallas County E-911 Commission; AND, WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Mayor to appoint primary and alternate members to the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission and Dallas County E-911 Commission; AND, WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints Fire Chief Clint Robinson as primary member and Council Member Anna Bergman as alternate member to the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission; AND, WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints Fire Chief Clint Robinson as primary member and Council Member Anna Bergman as alternate member to the Dallas County E-911 Commission. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 6th day of January, 2020, that it hereby approves the Mayor’s appointment of members to the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission and Dallas County E-911 Commission for 2020. ____________________________ Courtney Clarke, Mayor Attest: ___________________________________ Rebecca D.
