Fee Schedule, Parks and Recreation, Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course.
FORMAT:Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The 2020 Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course Rates
reflect a $1.00 increase on all daily rounds of golf, $1.00 increase to all
driving range buckets of balls, and a 5% increase to all season passes. Golf
course rates were last adjusted in 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff completed a golf course rate comparison with
surrounding golf courses. The current rates have not been adjusted since
2011, therefor staff feels that a slight increase will not affect the number of
rounds played at the course.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the ordinance

RESOLUTION 2020-
ADOPTING THE CITY OF WAUKEE 2020 FEE SCHEDULE, PARKS AND
RECREATION, SUGAR CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, a Fee Schedule for services provided at Sugar Creek Municipal Golf
Course has been submitted to the City Council for consideration and approval; AND,
WHEREAS, the 2020 Fee Schedule. Parks and Recreation, Sugar Creek Municipal
Golf Course, is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 20th day of January, 2020, that the City of Waukee 2019 Fee Schedule is
hereby approved and shall be in effect as of February 1, 2020.
