MEETING DATE: March 23, 2020
AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of setting April 6, 2020, as the date of public
hearing on the adoption of the City of Waukee FY2021 budget
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council was initially schedule to hold
the public hearing on this matter at the March 23, 2020 regular meeting.
However, due to a change of plans for that meeting to be held
electronically only due to public health concerns, the public hearing must
be rescheduled and notice republished in accordance with the Code of
Iowa.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Due to statewide public health concerns, the
Department of Management has sought and been approved to extend the
budget deadline until April 30.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the public hearing date.
