SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Waukee Public Library Stormwater
Improvements – SRF Sponsored Project will be located at 950 Warrior Lane.
This project includes the complete replacement of the existing parking lot and stormwater
improvements including PCC paving, permeable pavers, bio-retention cells, stormwater pond,
storm sewer, sanitary sewer, landscaping, excavation, demolition of existing parking lot, tree
removal, traffic control, construction survey, erosion control, and site restoration.

WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY
STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS – SRF SPONSORED PROJECT
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on April 20, 2020. Due to public health concerns
and guidance, in accordance with Iowa Code Sections 21.4(1)(b) and 21.8, this meeting of the
Waukee City Council will be conducted electronically as holding the meeting in person is
impossible or impractical. However, the public is encouraged to access the meeting
electronically in the manner specified below.

This project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of
the WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS – SRF SPONSORED
PROJECT
generally described as follows:
Complete replacement of the existing parking lot and stormwater improvements to the
site of the Waukee Public Library (950 Warrior Ln, Waukee, IA US 50263). Improvements
include PCC Paving, Permeable Pavers, Bio-Retention Cells, Stormwater Pond, Storm
Sewer, Sanitary Sewer, Landscaping, Excavation, Demolition of Existing Parking Lot,
Tree Removal, Traffic Control, Construction Survey, Erosion Control, and Site
Restoration.
