THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2020-
APPROVING GAS MAIN EASEMENT [CITY OF CLIVE, IOWA]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee owns and operates a natural gas transmission main from north
of Granger to one-half mile south of Hickman Road along the Alice’s Road Corridor; AND,
WHEREAS, an easement from the City of Clive is required at a certain point along the Granger
Natural Gas Main to accommodate an emergency shut-off valve installation and regulator station;
AND,
WHEREAS, the location of the easement is legally described as Lot C in Verona Hills Plat 1,
and Official Plat, now included in and forming a part of the City of Clive, Dallas County, Iowa.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
20th day of April, 2020, that it hereby approves the Gas Main Easement, attached hereto as
Exhibit A.
