SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The South Park project is the development of a new
neighborhood park including concrete paving and curb, water supply
stub for drinking fountain, sub drain tile, poured in-place rubber
surfacing, installation of premanufactured play equipment, site
furnishings, plantings and sodding. The Trail Amenity will include
concrete curb, subdrain tile, engineered mulch, installation of
premanufactured play equipment, seating and trees. The trail amenity
project is located north of the intersection of Brodie Street and Dunham
Drive, within the Glynn Village neighborhood. Construction of the
project is anticipated to begin early June 2020 and will be substantially
completed by October 2020.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
GLYNN VILLAGE SOUTH PARK AND GLYNN VLLAGE TRAIL AMENITY
WAUKEE, IOWA
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract, and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2020. Due to public health
concerns and guidance, in accordance with Iowa Code Sections 21.4(1)(b) and 21.8, this
meeting of the Waukee City Council will be conducted electronically as holding the meeting in
person is impossible or impractical. However, the public is encouraged to access the meeting
electronically in the manner specified below.

This project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of
the Glynn Village South Park and Trail Amenity, generally described as follows:
The Glynn Village South Park project includes concrete paving and curb, water supply stub for
drinking fountain, sub drain tile, poured in-place rubber surfacing, installation of
premanufactured play equipment, site furnishings, site grading, irrigation modifications, plantings
and sodding.
The project is located at 2255 S. Warrior Lane, Waukee, IA 50263.
The Glynn Village Trail Amenity project includes concrete curb, subdrain tile, engineered mulch,
installation of premanufactured play equipment, seating and trees. The project is located north
of the intersection of Brodie Street and Dunham Drive, within Glynn Village Neighborhood.
