AGENDA ITEM: Public Hearing on proposals for the purchase and removal of structures owned
by the City of Waukee [28253 U Avenue]
FORMAT: Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Earlier this year, the City acquired the property located at
28253 U Avenue because of improvements associated with NW 10th Street.
The property consists of a single-family house and two detached garages. The
structures need to be removed from the property to accommodate the
expansion of NW 10th Street.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The house and two garages were advertised through sale
through Dallas County News as well as the City website.
RECOMMENDATION: Hold the Public Hearing
