HomeMy WebLinkAbout2020-08-03-G02 Easement Vacation - Shops at Kettlestone North Plat 1_PH AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: August 3, 2020 AGENDA ITEM: Public Hearing on the vacation of a public ingress/egress easement [The Shops at Kettlestone North Plat 1] FORMAT: Resolution SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: As a part of the final plat for The Shops at Kettlestone North Plat 1, an ingress/egress easement was provided along the eastern 30 feet of the property in order to allow for ingress/egress through the various lots located between Esker Ridge Drive and Ashworth Road. Prior to the access drives being constructed the property owner coordinated with the adjoining property owner to the east to center the easement and driveway on the shared property line to provide shared access to the adjoining property to the east. The owner of the property has requested that the original easement be vacated as it doesn’t follow the location of the actual access drive. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend holding the public hearing. RECOMMENDATION: Hold the public hearing ATTACHMENTS: I.
