AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting September 8, 2020 as the date
of public hearing on the annexation of consenting property by the City of
Waukee, Iowa with consideration of the annexation taking place immediately
thereafter [Crawford Property]
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a petition for property located on the
west side of Warrior Lane and north of Sahu Acres owned by Fred and Connie
Crawford. The annexation includes approximately 2 acres.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend setting a public hearing date for
September 8, 2020 to further discuss the annexation proposal.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
