AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Ashworth West Plat 1

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The plan set includes improvements associated with the Ashworth West Plat 1 project. The
improvements include installation of sidewalk ramps along SE Kettlestone Boulevard and Grand
Prairie Parkway.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff is working with the applicant to address the last
remaining comments.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2020-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
ASHWORTH WEST PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction drawings have been submitted to the City for Ashworth West Plat 1;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 24th day of August, 2020 that the Construction Drawings for Ashworth West Plat 1 be
approved subject to remaining staff comments.
