SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Warrior Lane Joint Utility Trench Project consists
of installing approximately 3250 linear feet of (10) 2” conduits and 2 (4”) conduits using a
combination of trench and trenchless construction methods along Warrior Lane from University
Avenue to Marshall Drive. Also included is installation of hand holes, remove and replace
sidewalks, traffic control, erosion control, and site restoration.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
WARRIOR LANE JOINT UTILITY TRENCH
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 p.m. on September 21, 2020. Due to public health
concerns and guidance, in accordance with Iowa Code Sections 21.4(1)(b) and 21.8, this
meeting of the Waukee City Council will be conducted electronically as holding the meeting in
person is impossible or impractical. However, the public is encouraged to access the meeting
electronically in the manner specified below.

This project includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of
the WARRIOR LANE JOINT UTILITY TRENCH
generally described as follows:
Project consists of installing approximately 3250 linear feet of (10) 2” conduits and 2 (4”)
conduits using a combination of trench and trenchless construction methods along
Warrior Lane from University Ave to Marshall Drive. Also included is installation of
handhole banks, remove and replace sidewalks, traffic control, erosion control, and site
restoration/seeding of all disturbed areas.
