THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2020-
APPROVING THE VACATION OF A TEMPORARY DETENTION AND GRADING
EASEMENT AND TEMPORARY INGRESS-EGRESS EASEMENT [LOT 2 OF COVE
AT KETTLESTONE PLAT 2]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City has previously approved a Temporary Detention and Grading Easement
(Book 2019 Page 21470) and a Temporary Ingress-Egress Easement (Book 2019 Page 21471)
across Lot 2 of Cove at Kettlestone Plat (the “Easements”); AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Easements as described on attached Exhibit A is no
longer needed; AND,
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested that the Easements as described in attached
Exhibit A be vacated.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
2nd day of November 2020, that it hereby approves the vacation of the Temporary Detention and
Grading Easement and Temporary Ingress-Egress Easement.

PLAT NOW INCLUDED IN AND FORMING A PART OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,
DALLAS COUNTY, IOWA.
Temporary Ingress-Egress Easement:
A PART OF LOT 2, COVE AT KETTLESTONE PLAT 2, AN OFFICIAL PLAT NOW
INCLUDED IN AND FORMING A PART OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, DALLAS COUNTY,
IOWA AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 2; THENCE SOUTH
00⁰11’20” WEST ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 2, A DISTANCE OF 29.80 FEET
TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE SOUTH 89⁰48’38” EAST, 45.00 FEET;
