AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving a public water main
easement associated with Lots 2, 3, 10, & 11 of Alice Patricia Homes
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The City Council previously approved a final plat for
Alice Patricia Homes. Since the approval of the plat, a need for
additional easement area for a relocated public water main within a
portion of the plat is required. The owner of the property has agreed to
provide the additional easement area.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2020-
APPROVING PUBLIC WATER MAIN EASEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH LOTS 2,
3, 10, & 11 OF ALICE PATRICIA HOMES [AUGUSTA HOLDINGS, LLC]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved the final plat for Alice Patricia Homes
(Resolution #16-210); AND,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to acquire a Public Water Main Easement across a portion of Lots 2,
3, 10, and 11 of Alice Patricia Homes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
2nd day of November 2020, that it hereby approves the public water main easement associated
with Lots 2, 3, 10, and 11 in Alice Patricia Homes as recorded in Book 2016, Page 9355, of the
Dallas County Recorder’s Office.
