HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-07-08-K01M City Hall Renovation_Change Order 2 AGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: July 8, 2019 AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 2 to Ball Team, LLC, for the Waukee City Hall Renovation Project, increasing the contract in the amount of $14,619.00. FORMAT: Consent Agenda SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The proposed Change Order No. 2 consists of three increases to the contract. The proposed changes are as follows: 1. Additional concrete pavers to be installed at the entrance because of the favorable bid for the overall project. 2. Wood Sheathing removal and replacement which was determined was necessary once the existing siding on the building was removed. 3. Replacement of concrete bases for new light poles because the bolt pattern for the existing bases does not match the new fixtures. Additionally the existing bases are not in very good shape. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: The proposed changes are accounted for within the project contingency.
