AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Hougham Subdivision
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located south of Interstate 80 and west of R-22/Ute Avenue. The public
improvements associated with this plat include a water main extension and a turn lane on R-22.
The improvements are associated with the site improvements for an ABC Supply building.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff is working with the applicant to address all
remaining comments.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to remaining
staff comments.

RESOLUTION 19-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
HOUGHAM SUBDIVISION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction drawings have been submitted to the City for Hougham Subdivision;
AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 8th day of July, 2019 that the Construction Drawings for Hougham Subdivision be approved
subject to remaining staff comments.
