AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving construction
drawings for Kettlestone Trunk Sewer

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:
The subject property is located north of Interstate 80 and west of Grand Prairie Parkway. The
public improvements associated with this plat include the installation of a sanitary sewer to serve
future development to the north.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: All comments have been addressed.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the resolution subject to the applicant
providing proof of offsite easements.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 19-
APPROVING THE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS FOR
KETTLESTONE TRUNK SEWER
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, construction drawings have been submitted to the City for Kettlestone Trunk
Sewer; AND,
WHEREAS, the construction drawings have been reviewed by the City Engineer and City staff,
and are found to be in general conformance with section §303 - Land Subdivision Ordinance of
the Waukee Municipal Code.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 16th day of December, 2019 that the Construction Drawings for Kettlestone Trunk Sewer be
approved.
