[Waukee Public Library RTU Project]

SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The improvements related to the RTU replacement project
are now complete and the engineer on the project is satisfied with the
improvements and has recommended that the public improvements be
accepted.

RESOLUTION 19-
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY RTU
REPLACEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of January, 2019, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee,
Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Air-Con Mechanical Corp. of Des Moines, IA, for
the construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Waukee Public
Library RTU Replacement Project; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public
improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and
specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on December 13,
2019.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WAUKEE, IOWA:
Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and
adopted, and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully
completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final
construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $139,075.96, as shown in the report of the
Engineer.

We hereby certify that we have made an on-site review of the completed construction of the Waukee
Public Library RTU Replacement project performed by AirCon Mechanical.
As Construction Administrators for the Waukee Public Library RTU Replacement project, it is our opinion
that the work is in substantial accordance with the plans and specifications and the final amount of the
contract is One Hundred Thirty-Nine Thousand Seventy-Five and 96/100 Dollars ($139,075.96).
