AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of approval of a Motion to set a Public
Hearing Date of March 5, 2018, as the date of public hearing on an
ordinance to amend Chapter 301, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee,
Iowa, by rezoning certain property from A-1 to M-1 (Crescent Ridge
Mini Storage)
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Staff has received a request for rezoning of
approximately 4.25 acres from A-1 Agricultural District to M-1 Light
Industrial District. The subject property is located south of Interstate 80
and west of R-22/Ute Avenue.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend a public hearing date be set for
March 5, 2018, to further discuss the proposed changes.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
