owners of Chops Old Bank request a temporary street closure for a street
party on 05/05/2018

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 18-
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WALNUT STREET FROM 6TH
STREET WEST 125 FEET TO THE ALLEY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10:00 A.M.
ON SATURDAY, MAY 5, 2018, AND 8:00 A.M. ON SUNDAY, MAY 6, 2018, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF A STREET PARTY [CHOPS OLD BANK]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the owners of Chops Old Bank request the temporary closing of Walnut Street
from 6th Street west 125 feet to the alley between the hours of 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5,
2018, and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2018, for the purpose of a street party; AND,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Code of Iowa §364.12(2)(a), public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
16th day of April, 2018, that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Walnut Street from 6th
Street west 125 feet to the alley between the hours of 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, and
8:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2018, for the purpose of a street party.
