AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a motion setting February 21, 2022 as the date of
public hearing on an Ordinance to amend Chapter 165, Zoning Regulations,
Definitions and General Regulations, Waukee, Iowa by adding provisions for
Mobile Food Units.
FORMAT: Motion
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: At a prior City Council work session, City Council gave
direction to staff to prepare an ordinance which would allow for the operations
of mobile food units (food trucks) within the City of Waukee.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:
STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff would recommend approval of the motion to set the
public hearing for February 21, 2022 to further discuss the proposed
ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the motion.
