RESOLUTION 2022-
RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, FORM
OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATE OF COST AND ENHANCEMENT
OF PAYMENT FOR THE WARRIOR LANE IMPROVEMENTS
- PHASE 2
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of January, 2022, plans, specifications, form of contract,
estimate of cost and enhancement of payment were filed with the Clerk for the construction of
certain public improvements described in general as the Warrior Lane Improvements - Phase 2;
and
WHEREAS, notice of hearing on plans, specifications, form of contract, estimate of cost
and enhancement of payment for the public improvements was published as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA:
Section 1.That the plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost are hereby
approved as the plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the public
improvements, as described in the preamble of this Resolution.
Section 2.That an enhancement of payment in the amount of Sixty Thousand Dollars
($60,000) is hereby approved as part of the form of contract for early completion of certain critical
improvements by August 12, 2022; said payment was included in the notice to bidders, is
competitively neutral to potential bidders, and the total value of the payment does not exceed ten
percent of the value of the contract.
