AGENDA ITEM:Consideration approval of Receipt and File of the purchase of two (2)
Radio-detection Locator units from Subsurface Solutions of Omaha, NE
in the amount of $12,965.02.
FORMAT:Receipt/File
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: These are replacements for units used to locate
the underground facilities such as gas lines, water lines, sewer lines, electric lines, and
fiber. The City had 12,163 locates in calendar year 2021.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $12,965.02
Cost is split between Water, Gas, Sanitary Sewer and Street Department Budgets.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the purchase from Subsurface Solutions.
