AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Agreement with Musco
Lighting for the MuscoVision [Triumph Park]
FORMAT:Consent
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: This agreement provides the City of Waukee 750 Free
hours of streaming services for Triumph Park. Additional hours can be
purchased. Musco shall pay the City of Waukee 70% of all pay-per-view
revenue generated at Triumph Park. The equipment associated with these
streaming services were provided in the lighting package of Triumph Park
Construction. The ability to stream games will add to the popularity of
Triumph Park. Streaming of games is not only beneficial for parents and
grandparents but is also being used by collegiate softball coaches for
recruiting at national tournaments. Triumph Park will be equipped with all
the necessary signage notifying patrons of video and/or audio taping. At this
time there is no cost associated with this agreement. The City Attorney has
reviewed this agreement.

RESOLUTION 2022-
APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH AGREEMENT WITH MUSCO LIGHTING FOR
MUSCOVISION [TRIUMPH PARK]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the live video streaming of softball games is not only beneficial for family
members desiring to watch their children play but is also being used by collegiate softball
coaches for recruiting at national tournaments; AND,
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement with Musco Lighting provides the City with a set
number of streaming hours for Triumph Park; AND,
WHEREAS, following Waukee City Council approval of the proposed agreement and prior
to the opening of Triumph Park, signage will be erected notifying patrons that audio and
video of games is being streamed and recorded.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that the
Agreement between the City of Waukee, Iowa, and Musco Lighting for MuscoVision
streaming services is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 7th day of
March, 2022.
