AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of receipt and file of the purchase of a 2022 Chevy
Traverse from Shottenkirk Chevrolet in the amount of $29,993.20.
FORMAT:Receipt/File
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: This purchase is a scheduled replacement of
the 2012 Explorer for Assistant Public Works Director of Engineering. The City took
quotes from Deery, Stivers, and Shottenkirk. Deery declined to participate based on ability
to have vehicle built. The quotes from Shottenkirk and Stivers were within $500.00 dollars
of each other with Stivers being low bid. Unfortunately delivery time is an issue with this
replacement as Stivers’ delivery time is minimum of 25 weeks while Shottenkirk stated a
delivery time of 12 weeks. Staff recommend to purchase a Chevy Traverse from
Shottenkirk based on the shorter delivery time.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $29,993.20
This is a scheduled replacement.
