AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Beverage Agreement
with PepsiCo Beverage Sales, LLC [Triumph Park]
FORMAT:Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Parks & Recreation Department received proposals to
be the exclusive beverage provider for the three Triumph Park concession
stands with the RFP opening at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
Proposals were submitted by Pepsico and Atlantic Bottling. Staff recommends
moving forward with a 3-year contract with Pepsico that will run from April
1, 2022 through March 31, 2025 with an option to extend the agreement an
additional 3-years once this term is completed.

RESOLUTION 2022-
APPROVING BEVERAGE AGREEMENT WITH PEPSICO BEVERAGE
SALES, LLC [TRIUMPH PARK]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Parks & Recreation Department solicited proposals for an
exclusive beverage provider for Triumph Park concession stands; AND,
WHEREAS, following review of the submitted proposals, the Waukee Parks &
Recreation Department recommends entering into an agreement with PepsiCo Beverage
Sales, LLC;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 21st day of March, 2022, that the Beverage Agreement with PepsiCo
Beverage Sales, LLC, for Triumph Park concession stands is hereby approved
.
