This project includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for excavation, backfill and sitework; submersible pumps, piping and valves; concrete and granular surfacing; reinforced concrete; wood stud building construction; building work including heating and ventilation, doors, painting, and appurtenances; electrical work including conduit, cables, power wiring, motor controls and housings, starters, fixtures and controls; standby power generator; manholes; surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work including cleanup. This project is included in the approved FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvements Plan with a total project budget of $2,065,000.00. This project has a June 30, 2023 complete date. The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above referenced public improvements at 5:30 P.M. on April 18, 2022. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. The work to be done is as follows: LIFT STATION NO. 2 REHABILITATION Construct Lift Station No. 2 including all labor, materials and equipment necessary for excavation, backfill and sitework; submersible pumps, piping and valves; concrete and granular surfacing; reinforced concrete; wood stud building construction; building work including heating and ventilation, doors, painting, and appurtenances; electrical work including conduit, cables, power wiring, motor controls and housings, starters, fixtures and controls; standby power generator; manholes; surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work including cleanup. The Lift Station No. 2 Rehabilitation project is located on N. Fourth Street north of Hickman Road.
