AGENDA ITEM: Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Public Facilities and Use
Easement (Dallas County Conservation)
FORMAT: Resolution
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Dallas County Conservation Board has granted a
Public Facilities and Use Easement to the City of Waukee. The easement is
located east of S Avenue and north of Hickman Road. The purpose of the
easement is for installation of various utilities related to the Apple Data Center
project.

THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
RESOLUTION 2022-
APPROVING EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC USE AND FACILITIES, DALLAS
COUNTY CONSERVATION BOARD
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County; AND,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that certain easements from Dallas County Conservation
Board, are necessary for the purpose of sanitary sewer extensions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa,
that the Easement for Public Use and Facilities, Dallas County Conservation Board property, is
hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 18th day of April,
2022.
