STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. has reviewed the public
improvements for 2022 Ashworth Road Pavement Patching Project and find it in general conformance
with the standard specifications for the City of Waukee.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.

RESOLUTION 2022-
ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
[2022 ASHWORTH ROAD PAVEMENT PATCHING]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County; AND,
WHEREAS, The Concrete Contracting Company has completed the public
improvements associated with the 2022 Ashworth Road Pavement Patching Project;
AND,
WHEREAS, Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. have reviewed the improvements constructed as
part of the 2022 Ashworth Road Pavement Patching project and confirm that said
improvements constructed as a part of this project are in general conformance with the
Standard Specifications of the City of Waukee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 6th day of June 2022, that it hereby accepts the public improvements
associated with the 2022 Ashworth Road Pavement Patching Project.

WAUKEE, IOWA
We hereby certify that we have made an on-site review of the completed
construction of the 2022 Ashworth Road Pavement Patching Project as performed by
The Concrete Contracting Company.
As Engineers for the project, it is our opinion the work performed is in
substantial accordance with the plans and specifications, and that the final
amount of the Contract is One Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Fourteen
55/100 Dollars ($188,414.55).
