SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON:This project includes all labor, materials and
equipment necessary for manhole rehabilitation, repairs, adjustments, chimney seals, Portland
cement concrete pavement replacement, surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work,
including cleaning, testing and cleanup.
This project is included in the approved FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvements Plan with a total
project budget of $180,000.00. This project has a May 31, 2023 complete date.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, PROPOSED FORM OF CONTRACT
AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE 2022/2023 MANHOLE REHABILITATION
FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA.
The City Council of Waukee, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans,
Specifications, Form of Contract and Estimate of Costs for the construction of the above
referenced public improvements at 5:30 P.M. on June 20, 2022. At said hearing, any interested
person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. The work to
be done is as follows:
2022/2023 MANHOLE REHABILITATION
Construct 2022/2023 Manhole Rehabilitation including all labor, materials and
equipment necessary for manhole rehabilitation, repairs, adjustments, chimney seals,
portland cement concrete pavement replacement, surface restoration and
miscellaneous associated work, including cleaning, testing and cleanup.
The 2022/2023 Manhole Rehabilitation will be located within the area roughly bounded by
Hickman Road, Warrior Lane, University Avenue and 10th Street.
Due to public health concerns and guidance, in accordance with Iowa Code Sections 21.4(1)(b)
and 21.8, this meeting of the Waukee City Council will be conducted with two different options
for public participation: 1) Members of the public wishing to attend in person may do so in the
Council Chambers at Waukee City Hall. 2) Members of the public wishing to participate
