FORMAT:Consent Agenda SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Payment Estimate No. 20 to Larson Construction, Co., Inc., is for installation of the unilock pavers at the plaza’s, plantings, backstop wall pads, limestone outcropping around the pond, prefab benches and tables, Miracle League surfacing, and Dimensional Letter signage package. The standard 5 % retainage is being withheld but on top of that we feel that the seedings, landscaping, and final infield grading and drainage has not been completed to satisfaction. We have asked the contractor not to include approximately $250K for those three items. The quantities completed to date have been reviewed and agreed upon by the contractor, City of Waukee Staff, and Confluence. We have opened the park but there are still some items that we feel are not completed enough to authorize full payment. We are still holding the standard 5% retainage but on top of that we feel that the seeding, landscaping, and final infield grading and drainage has not been completed to satisfaction. So we have asked that the contractor not include approximately $250k for those three times, which are exhibited as line items in the attached payment application.
