bond at their August 11, 2022 meeting.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $1,398,084.95
City of Clive $ 340,353.35
City of Waukee $1,057,731.60

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution approving contract and bond with Minturn,
Inc., of Brooklyn, IA, in the amount of $1,398,084.95.

RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
AND BOND FOR THE HICKMAN ROAD (US 6) & BERKSHIRE
PKWY/SE WACO PL INTERSECTION PROJECT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE
OF IOWA:
That the construction contract and bond executed and insurance coverage for the
construction of certain public improvements described in general as the Hickman Road (US 6) &
Berkshire Pkwy/SE Waco Pl Intersection Project, and as described in detail in the plans and
specifications heretofore approved, and which have been signed by the Mayor and Clerk of the
City of Clive, with the consent of the City of Waukee, be and the same are hereby approved as
follows:
Contractor:Minturn, Inc.,of Brooklyn, IA
Amount of bid:$1,398,084.95
