AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of Change Order No. 1 to InRoads Paving for
the NW Meredith Dr Overlay, NW 10th Street to N. Warrior Lane Project
increasing the contract amount by $5,958.41.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Change Order No. 1 is for field tile repair and
adjustments to final bid values to match actual as-built quantities installed in the field.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order increases the contract price in the amount of $5,958.41.
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:

Dear Ms. Kappos:
Attached please find a detailed Change Order for City Council approval on September 19, 2022
Change Description:
• Item CO 4.3 T&M for Field Tile Repair
o A field tile was encountered while digging the culvert under Meredith at Sta
352+90 Rt. T&M tracked for the repair of the 12" tile.
• Adjustments to final bid values to match a ctual as-built quantities installed in the field.
We have reviewed the submitted quotes from InRoads and they appear to be in order with current
industry pricing. If City Staff concurs with this pricing, we recommend the City of Waukee
Increase the contract price in the amount of $5,958.41to complete the additional work associated
with Change Order #1. If you have any questions, please contact me.
