SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: NPL Construction Co. requested Payment Estimate
No. 2 (Final) for the work completed on the 170th Street Transmission Line Relocation Phase 2
Project, in the amount of $87,904.82. USDI has reviewed the payment estimate and recommends
payment.
The partial payment is for the pay period ending July 29, 2022. This pay estimate is for lowering
of remaining gas main pipe as part of this project.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $87,904.82

RE: 170th Street Transmission Line Relocation Phase 2 – Final Pay App
Dear Mr. Royer,
Please find attached hereto one copy of the final pay application from NPL Construction
Company for the above referenced project. The amount requested is $87,904.82 and the
accepted quotation for the project including Change Order #1 & #2 is $170,855.40. A previous
payment of $82,950.58 was made on August 16, 2021. The project was completed July 29, 2022
as requested by the City of Waukee.
I recommend the payment of $87,904.82, leaving no remaining balance owed. Please feel free
