for the Waukee Public Library Stormwater Improvements decreasing the
contract amount by $42,127.50.
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Change Order No. 9 is for adjustments to final
contract quantities to reflect actual item quantities used during
construction.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: The net result of this
Change Order decreases the contract price in the amount of $42,127.50.
COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT:

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the change order.

Please find attached Change Order #8 for the Waukee Public Library Stormwater Improvements. The
change order includes adjustments to final contract quantities to reflect actual item quantities used
during construction.
We have reviewed the change order items and unit prices, both are line with anticipated amounts. If
City staff concurs with this change, we recommend the City of Waukee approve this change order
deduct in the amount of $42,127.50 to the construction contract for the Waukee Public Library
Stormwater Improvements with Elder Corporation of Pleasant Hill, IA.
