AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of awarding quote [2022 Community Marker and
Park Signage Fabrication and Installation]
FORMAT:Consent Agenda
SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: On Wednesday September 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. the City
of Waukee received one quote from Nagle Signs for the 2022 Community
Marker and Park Signage Fabrication and Installation. The City of Waukee
solicited quotes from 6 different sign companies. The signage will be
identical to the median signage along Alice Road. Warrior Lane Phase 1
(Roundabout) there would be 4 of the Type “B” signs. There will be 2 of the
Type “C” community markers along the Warrior Lane Phase 2. The quote
also provided for the fabrication and installation of two park signs for Sugar
Creek Park. These signs would be consistent with what has been installed
with the recent park improvements. The quote also locked in the price of 4
future park signs that will be installed at Stratford Crossing Park and a future
park to be determined. The funding for these signs has been programmed into
each of the capital improvement project budgets.

STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Award the quote to Nagle Signs, Inc.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution.
