RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. ATTACHMENTS: I. Resolution II. Certificate of Completion PREPARED BY: Beth Richardson REVIEWED BY: Sara Kappos SKK PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION – NAME OF PUBLICATION: DATE OF PUBLICATION: J1H9 RESOLUTION 2022- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LITTLE WALNUT CREEK NORTH TRUNK SEWER - PHASE 1 AND WATER MAIN EXTENSIONS WHEREAS, on the 1st day of February, 2021, the Mayor and Clerk of the City of Waukee, Iowa, entered into a construction contract with Priority Excavating, LLC, of Clive, IA, for the construction of certain public improvements generally described as the Little Walnut Creek North Trunk Sewer - Phase 1 and Water Main Extensions; and WHEREAS, the contractor has fully completed the construction of the public improvements in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and plans and specifications, as shown by the certificate of the Engineer filed with the Clerk on September 26, 2022: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, STATE OF IOWA: Section 1.That the report of the Engineer be and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the public improvements are hereby approved and accepted as having been fully completed in accordance with the plans, specifications and form of contract and the total final construction cost thereof is hereby determined to be $617,739.19, as shown in the report of the Engineer.
