HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-11-07 J01C_02 Receipt and File_Public Works Pickup ReplacementAGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: November 7, 2022 AGENDA ITEM:Consideration approval of Receipt and File of the purchase of a 2023 Chevrolet pickup from Shottenkirk Chevrolet in the amount of $45,560.00. FORMAT:Receipt/File SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: This is scheduled replacement of a 2014 pickup used by the Engineering Department. The replacement truck was scheduled for next fiscal year; however, due to condition of the pickup, it was moved forward replacing the 2012 pickup that will be move for replacement in the next fiscal year. The pickup will be sold on Govdeals with an estimate to bring $10,000.00. Staff took pricing from Shottenkirk, Stivers, and Bob Brown. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: $45,560.00 Cost is split between Water, Sanitary Sewer and Street Department Budgets.
