SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Elder Corporation has completed the project and is requesting
the release of retainage. Foth recommends release of the retainage. Lien waivers have been received.

Dear Ms. Kappos:
Attached please find a detailed Pay Request for City Council approval on November 21, 2022.
Submitted Quantity
• Release of 5% retainage
Pending submittal and review of the project lien waivers and consent of Surety from the bonding
company. If City Staff concurs with this payment, we recommend the City of Waukee pay Elder
Corporation of Pleasant Hill, Iowa in the amount of $248,702.58 for the work completed.
