SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: Elder Corporation has completed the project and is requesting
release of retainage. Shive-Hattery, Inc. recommend release of the retainage. Lien waivers have been
received.
FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS:$30,000.00

Waukee Public Library Stormwater Improvements
SH Project Number 4185870
Upon receipt of satisfactory lien waivers for the above referenced project, the contractor will have met
the requirements necessary for the release of the retainage on the project. If city staff concurs, we
recommend the release of the retainage to Elder Corporation of Pleasant Hill, IA in the amount of
$30,000.00 after lien waivers are received.
