SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: On 08/15/2022, the City Council approved an
ordinance establishing the Public Art Advisory Commission.

RESOLUTION 2022-
APPROVING THE MAYOR’S APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO THE
PUBLIC ART ADVISORY COMMISSION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on August 15, 2022, the Waukee City Council approved an ordinance establishing the
Public Art Advisory Commission in order to assist and advise the Waukee City Council in the
promotion of public art within the City’s physical environment and public spaces (Ordinance #3046);
AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints the following as members of the Public Art Advisory
Commission and with the following term expiration dates:

1)XX January 31, 2024
2)XX January 31, 2024
3)XX January 31, 2025
4)XX January 31, 2025
5)XX January 31, 2026
6)XX January 31, 2026
7)XX January 31, 2026
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on this
21st day of November, 2022, that it hereby approves the mayor’s appointment of members to the Public
Art Advisory Commission.
