HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-12-19 I01D Limited PT-Seasonal-Intern Comp PlanAGENDA ITEM: CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL MEETING COMMUNICATION MEETING DATE: December 19, 2022 AGENDA ITEM:Consideration of approval of a resolution approving Limited Part Time/ Seasonal/Intern Compensation Plan FORMAT:Consent Agenda SYNOPSIS INCLUDING PRO & CON: The Limited Part Time/Seasonal/Intern compensation plan has been reviewed and revised. FISCAL IMPACT INCLUDING COST/BENEFIT ANALYSIS: Minimal fiscal impact as all but three pay ranges remained the same as the 2021 season. Triumph Site Supervisor, Clubhouse Lead and Summer Reading Program Assistant pay ranges increased. COMMISSION/BOARD/COMMITTEE COMMENT: STAFF REVIEW AND COMMENT: Staff recommends approval of the Limited Part Time/Seasonal/Intern Compensation Plan. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution. I1D THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 2022- ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR CITY OF WAUKEE LIMITED PART TIME/SEASONAL/INTERN EMPLOYEES IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal Organization; AND, WHEREAS, the Park & Recreation Director, Library Director and Human Resource Director have reviewed and recommend approval of the compensation plan for City of Waukee Part time/Seasonal/Intern employees; AND, WHEREAS, the proposed compensation plan shall be effective February 26, 2023, and shall remain in effect until such time as a revised compensation plan is presented. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 19th day of December 2022, that the City of Waukee Part time/Seasonal/Intern compensation plan, which is attached hereto, is hereby approved. ____________________________ Courtney Clarke, Mayor Attest: ___________________________________ Rebecca D.
